WHAT FOWLER SAID
Wrexham no longer have to worry about parting with prized assets, and that is allowing them to keep talismanic figures in Phil Parkinson’s plans. Fowler has told of how Reynolds and McElhenney have made that possible: “Now, they haven’t got to sell players. Since the owners have took over, they have bought. I can’t remember the last players they sold. [Paul] Mullin has stayed, [Elliot] Lee has stayed. It’s a far different club to what it was before.”
