Tottenham fans have been growing frustrated with the lack of signings this summer, but they all agree Daniel Levy has done the right thing by not signing Abdoulaye Doucoure.
According to The Watford Observer, Tottenham are the “most likely” to pursue Doucoure this summer.
The French midfielder was comfortably the Hornets’ best player last season, and they have slapped a £45m price tag on him to ward off interest from Liverpool Arsenal and Tottenham.
Despite that report claiming Tottenham were the front-runners to land the towering midfielder though, he now looks like another transfer target off the table for Levy and Pochettino.

The 25 year-old signed a new contract on Thursday night, perhaps upping the price tag for potential suitors even more, but Spurs fans are actually breathing a sigh of relief.
Each passing day brings more and more infuriation from fans about the lack of signings, but it looks like Levy has got this one right by not jumping the gun.
